Joan Laporta believes Barcelona will be allowed to register all of their new signings after “completing everything” required by LaLiga.

Robert Lewandowski was introduced as a Barcelona player at Camp Nou on Friday, after signing from Bayern Munich for a sum that could increase to €50 million.
Raphinha and Jules Kounde have also joined the Catalan giants, while Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen joined as free agents and Ousmane Dembele inked a new contract.
A year ago, Barcelona was in serious circumstances, with Lionel Messi leaving because the club couldn’t afford to maintain the renowned Argentina captain owing to a financial crisis at Camp Nou.
There has been speculation that LaLiga may refuse to register Barcelona’s new additions due to budget constraints.
After signing a highly profitable sponsorship deal with Spotify and selling a percentage of LaLiga broadcast rights, merchandising rights, and a part in Barca Studios, Blaugrana president Laporta sees no problems.
“We worked to be able to register all the players that we have absorbed,” Laporta said as Lewandowski was paraded on the pitch.
“We have worked very hard and very well to meet the registration requirements.” We will perform any additional operations that are required, but the documentation has been supplied. LaLiga must make this decision. We have met all of their requirements and are optimistic that they will be able to sign up.”
“The second sale of Barca Studios was allowed because we had anticipated it,” he added. We did it as a precaution and in anticipation of difference in some interpretations. To be foresighted.
“We had always intended to do the fourth lever if it helps to better organize registrations.” Barcelona has invested 868 million euros in just two months. We have positive cash, a solid balance sheet, and results as a result of profits.
“We put in a lot of effort, and we had to conduct out activities to sell some assets in a regulated manner.”
Laporta indicated that Lewandowski needed assurances that his move to Barcelona would not fall through.
“When an agreement with Bayern was achieved, we had a series of negotiations,” he explained.
“Robert and his agent were apprehensive about our ability to register him, but I reassured them by telling them that if we had to register one, Robert would be the first.” Other teams offered the player more money and a higher salary.”
Lewandowski has taken over the number nine shirt that Memphis Depay wore last year, but Laporta believes Barcelona has not been disrespectful to the Netherlands international.
“The number nine thing was a club choice,” he explained. For reasons of interest to the club, as well as for image and publicity. We considered an appropriate conclusion and did it with the utmost respect for Memphis.”
