England have drawn Hungary, Germany and Italy in their 2022/23 UEFA Nations League group.
The Three Lions have a mixed record in the competition, reaching the finals of the 2018/19 edition where they finished third, before crashing out in the group stages in 2020/21.
The competitions kicks off next summer with England set to resume their rivalry with Hungary, who they faced twice in 2022 World Cup qualifying, beating them 4-0 away and stuttering to a last-gasp 1-1 draw at Wembley. Both games were marred by unpleasant scenes in the stands.
The standout ties will be against Germany and Italy, though. They dumped the former out of Euro 2020 in the round of 16, before going on to lose to the Azzurri in the final.
This will be the first chance England get to enact revenge on Italy in what is set to be a fascinating tie.
Elsewhere in Nations League League A, Wales were drawn against Belgium, Netherlands and Poland. Meanwhile, holders France, Denmark, Croatia and Austria are in Group A1. Group A2 consists of Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and Czech Republic.
