Patrick Viera will take his Crystal Palace side to Old Trafford to face Manchester United this weekend as he aims to get the Eagles back on track.
Palace travel to Manchester reeling from consecutive league defeats, which included their injury time loss to Leeds in midweek.
Their start to life under Vieira had been going swimmingly until then, although the Frenchman will back himself to halt his side’s losing run after sealing a famous victory on the blue half of Manchester earlier this season.
Here’s how Palace could line up.
Vicente Guaita (GK) – A fine shot stopper and a reliable last line of defence for Vieira.
James Tomkins (RB) – With Joel Ward suspended, Tomkins may be needed out wide.
Joachim Andersen (CB) – He’s been battling a hamstring injury, but Palace are hopeful of welcoming Andersen back for this one.
Marc Guehi (CB) – The guilty party for Leeds’ injury time penalty in midweek and he will be keen to respond this weekend.
Tyrick Mitchell (LB) – The Palace academy graduate is blossoming into an indispensable part of the squad.
Luka Milivojevic (CM) – Dropped for the defeat at Elland Road, but his steel in the middle of the pitch will be required at Old Trafford.
Cheikhou Kouyate (CM) – Defensively sound and his ability to carry the ball will be key alongside Milivojevic.
Conor Gallagher (CM) – The Englishman’s energy will be key for Crystal Palace off the ball.
Jordan Ayew (RW) – Should offer defensive solidity on the right hand side.
Odsonne Edouard (ST) – Has shared central striking duties with Christian Benteke this season, but his threat in transition should make him ideal for this fixture.
Wilfried Zaha (LW) – The winger will be keen to strike against his former employers once again.
