Chelsea and Tottenham ready to start £34million bidding auction for Serie A team of season defender Gleison Bremer
CHELSEA is reportedly set to fight against Tottenham for Torino defender Gleison Bremer.
The 25-year-old Brazilian midfielder has put in an impressive performance in Italy this season.
And that performance was enough to earn him a place on the Serie A season team.
He can now move up to the Premier League as the Blues prepare to intensify their quest.
Thomas Tuchel needs a strong defense after the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
Captain Cesar Azpilicue will also participate in the move to Barcelona, which would significantly weaken Chelsea.
And La Stampa now claims that Bremer is the man they want to add to their ranks at Stamford Bridge.
However, Antonio Contenas Spurs is also interested in the former ace of Atletico Mineiro, which could lead to a war between the two rivals for 34 million.
The Premier League duet will also face foreign competition to secure Bremer.
The latest message also states that Bayern Munich are also planning an attack on the country.
Bremer moved from his home country to Turin in 2018 and the agreement is valid until 2024.
He was also recently linked with a move to Inter at Milan.
But now it looks like Chelsea can lead him into the league.
