LMC, NPFL Clubs Meet Online, Ponder Season Ending Options

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Clubs Thursday evening met through digital video conferencing with the leadership of the League Management Company (LMC) during which varying options to concluding the suspended 2019/20 season were deliberated on. The meeting came on the heels of the LMC Board of Directors meeting that held earlier in the day via same digital media. LMC Approves Kwara United Takeover of Delta Force

The League Management Company (LMC) has granted Kwara United provisional approval to acquire Delta Force FC and play their home games at the Ilorin Township Stadium starting from MatchDay 8 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2019/20 season._ The League Management Company also approved the change of name of Akwa Starlets to Dakkada International FC of Uyo following their full compliance with requirements for change of name.
